Chassis Features

• The Burgman 400’s underbone frame is constructed from large-diameter, lightweight thin-wall tubes with good rigidity resulting in improved handling.
• A large 15-inch front wheel replaces the 14-inch wheel of the prior-generation Burgman 400 for excellent stability and an enhanced visual appearance. Rider Aid Features

• The Burgman’s Traction Control* system reduces slipping when taking off from a stop with the throttle fully open and lowers wheel-spin on slippery or uneven road surfaces to maintain efficient forward movement. Whether riding across wet asphalt or cobblestone streets, traction control offers the rider peace of mind and excellent road-holding ability. The system can be toggled on and off with a switch on the right handlebar. A centrally located icon on the instrument cluster informs the rider that the traction control system is on. A traction control (TC) LED icon on the speedometer illuminates at startup as a check symbol and will flash if the system is averting rear wheel spin while riding. *The Traction Control System is not a substitute for the rider’s throttle control.
